Create a Learning with a Certificate

Privileges Description
Administrative User A user will need administrative access to TEDS. This is defined on the Login tab of the individual's person details.
Create a Learning The Create a Learning privilege is a global privilege that is assigned in TEDS Online Administrator. This privilege grants an individual access to define Learning details in the Learning Catalog.
Manage Certificates The Manage Certificates privilege is a global privilege that is assigned in TEDS Online Administrator. This privilege grants an individual access to define Certificate details in Certificate Catalog.

Instructions
Log in to TEDS Online Administrator.
Access the Administrator option.
Select the Learning Catalog option.

Select the Create Learning link.

Be sure to enter a title. This is a system required field and must be completed.

Complete all fields on all tabs indicated with . These are fields that are required to be completed for your organization.
Complete any other desired information on the various learning detail fields.

Complete the Delivery Method field to designate how this learning will be delivered to it's intended students. Multiple Delivery Methods may be entered if there will be mutiple ways for a student to complete this learning.

To complete the Delivery Method field, select the add icon.

Note: Be sure popup blockers are turned off.
Select all desired delivery methods.
Click the OK button.
The modal will close and the selected delivery method(s) will display in the Learning Details.
Navigate to the Surveys, Certificates & Disciplines tab.

Select to add a certificate by selecting to add global (which will allow you to select certificate(s) from the Certificate Catalog) or add new (which will open certificate details to create a new certificate).

 
Locate and select the desired Certificate(s). Also select the Ok button.
Upon selection, the modal will close and the certificate will be displayed in the details.
When all details are complete, access the Status tab.
Set the Status field to Active.
Save the Learning.
